THERESA'S NYC BUS TRIPS: (www.TheresasBusTrips.com) **NOW ON FACEBOOK, TOO!

  • Feast of San Gennaro - Saturday, September 17th. Feast of San Gennaro - Patron Saint of Naples, is held along Mulberry St. between Canal and Houston St. in Little Italy. There's wonderful food, great people watching, and fun things to buy. This celebration is based on Neapolitan religious tradition. Of the restaurants, Umberto's Clam House on Mulberry St. remains most famed, not for the food, but for the fact it was the scene of a vicious gangland murder in 1972, when Joe "crazy Joey" was shot dead while celebrating his birthday with his wife and daughter. Be sure to check the old Police Headquarters - a palatial neoclassical confection with high-rise dome and lavish ornamentation, located on Center & Broome St.    Depart 6:00 am from Weis Market in Elmira (6:20 am from Best Western in Sayre) - arrive 10 minutes prior to departure.  Leaves NYC at 8:00 pm SHARP.    Cost is $73 per person.

From Tagstickets.com:
Shelton made his debut with the single "Austin" in 2001.  Released as the lead-off single from his self-titled debut album, "Austin" went on to spend five weeks at Number One. This song was the first single from his gold-certified debut album, which also produced two more Top 20 hits. Overall Shelton has charted seventeen singles on the country charts, including eight number one hits: "Austin," "The Baby," "Some Beach," "Home," She Wouldn't be Gone," "Hillbilly Bone," "Who Are You When I'm Not Lookin'" and a duet with Trace Adkins, "All About Tonight." Additionally, three more of his singles have reached Top Ten: "Goodbye Time," "Nobody But Me," and "I'll Just Hold On."

Country music comes naturally for Aaron Lewis.  In fact, the Staind frontman never strayed very far from country.  It's something that he grew up with. It's something that he comes back to.  It's something that inspires him.  It's something that's in his blood. Hints of that are present in the stripped honesty and acoustic melodies of Staind hits such as "Outside," "It's Been Awhile," and "So Far Away."  However, Lewis fully shows that spirit on his forthcoming five-song Town Line debut solo release for Nashville-based Stroudavarious Records and, most prevalently, via its first single, "Country Boy." With a little help from legends Charlie Daniels and George Jones as well as genre stalwart Chris Young, Lewis tells his story like never before on the song.
